These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SportsGPT (the "Service"), operated by YouInSports ("we", "us"), a company based in Canada. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. Who can use SportsGPT
- You can chat without an account. Accounts are for people 13 or older. If you are under the age of majority where you live (18 or 19 in Canada), you confirm a parent or guardian has agreed to these Terms.
- Club accounts must be created by an adult authorised by the club.
- SportsGPT has no betting. We don't take bets, show odds feeds, link to sportsbooks or give betting tips, and no plan unlocks any of these.
- Predictions are a free, points-only game. No odds. No wagering. Picks earn points, XP and badges only. There's no money, no entry fee, no prizes of monetary value and no odds, and it's open to all account holders.
- Betting content is blocked for minors. Under-18s never get betting or odds answers and are offered stats-learning alternatives instead.
- If an adult asks about betting, we may give a short, general statistics answer based only on matches recorded on SportsGPT, never tips or picks, and only after age checks: you must be signed in, have added your date of birth and region, and be of legal gambling age there. Age is self-declared. See the Responsible Gaming Policy.
2. Your account
Keep your sign-in details secure. You're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use.
3. Your content
- You keep ownership of scoresheets, text and other content you submit ("Your Content").
- You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, process, display and adapt Your Content to provide and improve the Service, including publishing match pages you choose to make public.
- You confirm you have the right to submit Your Content, including any names of players, and that publishing it doesn't violate anyone's rights. For youth matches, names are shown as initials by default.
4. AI-generated output
- SportsGPT uses AI models from third-party providers. Match facts are calculated from the data you provide, but AI wording can still contain mistakes. Review output before publishing it.
- Output is provided for information and entertainment. It is not medical, legal, financial or betting advice.
- You may use output you generate for your club, team or personal purposes, subject to these Terms and third-party rights.
5. Acceptable use
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy and Community & Youth Safety Policy. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate them.
6. Free and paid plans
- Free plan. SportsGPT is free to use, with daily usage limits that may change. Safety features are free on every plan.
- Paid plans. Pro and Club are paid subscriptions, along with optional add-ons such as a custom domain for a Club. Current prices, currencies and what each plan includes are shown on our Plans page (sportsgpt.ca/pricing) and again at checkout before you pay. Paid plans are for adults who have reached the age of majority where they live: 18 in Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Saskatchewan and India, and 19 in British Columbia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, the territories and everywhere else, or if your province isn't set. Club is for people who run a club, league or academy.
- Billing. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year, depending on what you chose, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. Taxes are added where they apply. If we change a price, we'll tell you before it applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
- Cancel anytime. Cancel from Settings → Plan & billing. You keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
- Refunds. Payments for a period that has already started are generally non-refundable, and we don't give partial refunds for unused time. If you were charged by mistake, charged after cancelling, or a problem on our side stopped you from using paid features, email [email protected] within 30 days of the charge and we'll refund you.
- Promotions. Introductory or founding offers apply only as described when they're offered, and may have limits such as eligibility, number of places or duration.
- Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under consumer protection law, including the Quebec Consumer Protection Act.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
8. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue features. We'll give reasonable notice of material changes to these Terms by posting them here and, where required, notifying you.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on output. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting [email protected]. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without limiting mandatory consumer protections where you live.
